The annual Magical Taxi Tour

Posted on

The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists’ Master Gus Machado and the Clerk Susan Hoefling were at Canary Wharf early this morning for the annual Magical Taxi Tour London Taxi, organised by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.  The charitable event has been running for over 30 years and involves a convoy of approximately 100 licensed taxis taking sick children and their families on a 3-day trip to Disneyland Paris. Along with a number of Livery Companies, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists sponsors one of the taxis for the trip.

The convoy, including an escort from the City of London Police and the Gendarmerie Nationale, the AA and medical support vehicles, left this morning and we wish everyone a wonderful trip.
