This will lead into a panel session which explores the possibilities and constraints of AI in the creative industries. Presentations will include:
Royal College of Art: ReWilding AI
Professor Johnny Golding, Professor of Philosophy & Fine Art, Head of Radical Matter, RCA Tom Simmons, Head of Digital Direction, RCA
ReWilding AI presents critical aspects of research exploring the radical mattering of narrative ecologies and storytelling via immersive and distributed intelligence. Presented by the RCA’s Radical Matter proto-Centre and Digital Direction programme.
MovieLabs: AI and IA in Film Production
Raymond Drewry, Principal Scientist, MovieLabs
The MovieLabs 2030 Vision presents a re-think of how films are produced, based on a foundation of connected infrastructures that establish a collaborative workspace, zero-trust security, and softwaredefined workflows, using Intelligent Automation. Its goals are to give the creative community more time, more choice, better access to emerging technology, and faster iterations and turnaround in every step of the creative process. MovieLabs is a non-profit research and development joint venture founded by the major Hollywood studios, including Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Universal City Studios, Walt Disney Pictures, and Warner Bros. Entertainment
