8th March 2023 from 6:00pm — 7:00pm • Information Technologists' Hall and Zoom

We can all truly embrace equity. It’s not just something we say. It’s not just something we write about. It’s something we need to think about, know, and embrace. It’s what we believe in, unconditionally. Equity means creating an inclusive world.

Think it. Be it. Do it. Value it. Truly embrace it.

We will be joined by the Master, Rob Wirszycz, and will be discussing key subject areas around the International Women’s Day 2023 theme ‘Embracing Equity’ including:

• What are the current career challenges for Women in Technology? What, if anything, has changed over the past few decades?

• Who are the most famous women in the Technology industry? How have they been role models for us today?

• Internationally – are women feeling more included on the world stage? What evidence is there to that effect?

• From an Education point of view – what is available for women to improve their technical skills both online and face to face?

This event is being held for Members to invite those outside of the Livery to encourage wider and more diverse participation and membership within WCIT.

We look forward to seeing you there for what will be an exciting event, giving those attending an opportunity to get involved discussing women’s impact on technology over the years.

This event will be hybrid via Zoom and Information Technologists’ Hall, 39a Bartholomew Close, London, EC1A 7JN. If you wish to attend virtually, please select the option when checking out. The Zoom link will be sent closer to the date.
