IT&CC Panel: Climate Action in the City of London: Technology, Leadership and Delivery
25th June 2026 from 6:00pm — 8:00pm • The City Livery Club, Bell Wharf Lane, Upper Thames Street, EC4R 3TB, London
As part of London Climate Action Week 2026, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) is pleased to invite members and guests to an engaging discussion on how the City of London can accelerate climate action through technology, leadership, and collaboration.
Bringing together civic leaders, industry experts, and members of the Livery community, the session will explore how innovation and cross-sector partnerships can help turn climate ambition into measurable outcomes. Discussions will focus on the role of digital technologies, sustainable innovation, leadership, and collective action in supporting the City’s transition towards a more resilient and sustainable future.
The event will also showcase the findings of a recent survey of WCIT (IT&CC Panel), highlighting key climate priorities and identifying practical opportunities for action across the City ecosystem. Particular attention will be given to the unique role that Livery Companies can play in convening expertise, fostering dialogue, and driving meaningful change.
We are delighted to welcome Alderman Professor Emma Edhem as our featured speaker. Drawing on her experience across the City of London Corporation and her work at the intersection of policy, innovation, and sustainability, she will share insights on the leadership required to deliver effective climate action in one of the world’s leading financial and business centres.
