Medicines & Health Panel Event: Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep Apnoea using Telemedicine

We are delighted to welcome the Chief Medical officer of Theta Sleep, Tom Chambers, who will be presenting an overview of the unique challenges in providing telemedicine solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of Sleep Apnoea on Monday 27th of October online.

Overview:

• Sleep Apnoea is expected to the NHS approximately £1Bn over the next 5 years
• Treatment and Diagnosis availability is patchy across the regions, and the waiting list has trebled since 2021
• Theta Sleep have solutions operating in both private and NHS services

Tom is a qualified NHS practitioner and Certified Clinical safety officer, having Graduated from UCL medical school with distinction in MBBS and an iBSc in Physiology. He is currently an Anaesthetic Registrar in North West London with a special interest in perioperative medicine and member of the RSM Sleep Medicine Council.
