Kir Nuthi

Kir is the Head of Tech Regulation at the Startup Coalition (formerly Coadec), the policy voice for the UK’s startups and scaleups. She is a public policy professional currently focused on what pro-startup AI policy could look like in the UK, including AI adoption, AI governance, and what is coming down the line for AI Safety.

Dr Indranil Naith

Indranil is a senior market consultant across private equity, venture, and investment with a special focus in tech application. An experienced NED He has consulted on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence guidelines for Responsible AI, as well as the Action Plan for Sustainable Planet in the Digital Age, an initiative led by the Coalition for Digital Environmental Sustainability (CODES) in response to the United Nations Secretary General’s Roadmap for Digital Cooperation. Indranil is also Secretary of the Financial Services Technology Panel at the WCIT

Paul Excell

Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of IT (FBCS) and Institute of Engineering & Technology (FIET) and the author of the 7Cs of Exceptional Leadership. He is a Liveryman of the WCIT and a Freeman of the City of London. An award-winning Chair, Global CxO, Advisor, Accredited Executive Coach with an impressive track record of delivering growth in global organisations – uniquely combining entrepreneurial startup speed with the ability to deliver at scale. Paul is also the Chair of the AI4C (AI for Charity) Panel at the WCIT.

Sam Steele

Sam is our Moderator and is currently heading up an ambitious multi-million-pound Knowledge Exchange project, funded to 2014 by UK Research & Innovation and City, University of London. As MD at the national centre for Creativity enabled by AI, which is developing AI tools to support business creativity, Sam’s role is to commercialise applied academic research. A successful entrepreneur, Sam was also an award-winning Commissioning Editor and programme maker at BBC Radio One.
