Innovation Panel

The Innovation Panel reviews, evaluates and promotes new ideas and technologies so that WCIT members and the wider Livery community can understand emerging developments and, where appropriate, adopt innovation that benefits the Company and the Livery

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and review new technologies, then explain opportunities and implications to members.
• Bring members and Panels together to debate ideas and explore emerging developments in IT.
• Work with the Clerk and the Projects and Pro Bono Panel to guide other Livery companies on adopting appropriate technology.
• Act as an impartial sounding board on new IT tools and identify experts to provide thought leadership.
• Foster relations with City technology groups and signpost to relevant specialists.
• Monitor technology directions and, when requested, advise on professional standards and on measures affecting the industry.
